Released in April 2019, World War Z is an interesting addition to the graphics suite because it includes a render path for the Vulkan API, which is designed to offer similar performance and efficiency advantages to the Windows-exclusive Direct3D 12 (i.e. DX12) while also being cross-platform. This game uses the Swarm Engine, and we test it using the Ultra preset and the built-in benchmark. Although the game has its own performance metrics, we again rely on OCAT to capture data from the whole benchmark excluding a few seconds at the start/finish (almost one minute long in total).
